20 Stunning Summer Wedding Hairstyles for Modern Brides

Hair, Make Up & Beauty

Whether up or down, summer wedding hairstyles are all about feeling that sultry summer breeze and letting your natural style shine through. The trend at the moment is elegant, no nonsense hair that makes you feel uber comfortable and more importantly, keeps you still looking like yourself (your most gorgeous self, obvs). Anything goes with wedding hair at the moment, and it can be as casual as you like – short hair is tousled and carefree, long windswept locks are liberated, vintage waves are kept soft and it’s party time plaits and ponies. So say no to that second card of bobby pins, and toss that curling tongs aside (unless it’s just for a bit of a bounce, or course) and tease out a hair style that is all about you this summer.

If you’re still looking, remember there are so many incredible Irish wedding hair stylists on the weddingsonline supplier directory and for even more gorge wedding hair photos to give you plenty of ideas for your bridal look, head to our ultra inspiring wedding hair section here!

PSST! A Little Advice about the Wedding Hair Trial

Hair trials are so important for brides opting for a hair do outside their normal day-to-day. Our advice is when you go, pop on a white tee and jeans, get your ‘do did and head out for a couple of hours with your mom, sis or some mates and take a few selfies. No, it’s not a practical suggestion for most people, but if you have the time it’s a great way to see what the style looks like in natural photos (usually a bit different to when you’re statue solid in front of the mirror at the hairdressers) and also will show you how the hair might fall as the evening goes by. Even better – get your make-up trial done at the same time and see your overall look together, the only punishing part will be having to go back to ‘normal you’ before you see your other half.
