The key to a glitzy affair is choosing specific elements you want to work with. Less is more when it comes to sparkle!
Embrace this trend with some sequinned heels, glamorous baubles or a sparkly bolero to add an edge to your outfit and keep you snug. Or wrap your peonies or pretty blooms in one big glitzy bow to add some sparkle to your look without being tied to it all day long.
We’re a big fan of these sugar rimmed champers glasses. The rim is lined with the likes of syrup, liqueur or lime juice and then dipped in sugar and salt to create this sparkly gorgeousness, a really chic and cheap way to jazz up your glasses. Glittery miniature flags (perched in desserts or drinks) are another great DIY and can pretty up your dessert table in an instant.
Table numbers and signage are also an interesting way to bring some added sparkle to your soirée, adding a dash of dazzling glamour without overdoing it. Another lovely touch would be to provide guests with glitter confetti wands for the exit toss (so pretty!) and as always with confetti, it makes for some great snaps.
