Confetti Inspiration Palette

Décor & Flowers

Nothing says celebration like confetti! We stumbled upon this engagement shoot on Green Wedding Shoes and were bowled over by how fun and romantic it was. It got us thinking! There are lots of gorgeous and creative ways to use confetti to bring some cheer to your day… and not necessarily just sending it fluttering through the air.

With a lot of churches banning confetti, you may have to forgo the pretty paper scattering anyway if this is your ceremony venue of choice (but if your reception venue is okay with a quick clean up, you can always scatter your petals or paper there!) Check out the programmes below (top left) complete with pouch for an adorable way to combine your confetti and ceremony booklet. However, if both of these options are a no-go, you can still manage to include a take on this playful tradition without the major clean-up operation.

String pretty paper circles together and drape on the backs of chairs or use as a form of bunting to perk up your décor. Sprinkle it on your tables or over favours, or for a less messy approach print these sweet little circles on your invitations or menu cards. If you’ve opted for an informal affair like a picnic or barbeque, wooden cutlery spiced up with colourful spots could be the way to go. Or how pretty would a wedding cake covered in edible candy confetti be?

BonBon balloons have the most amazing balloons bursting with confetti. Whether you use them to add a quirky touch to your venue or for a pretty photo op al fresco, they cannot but make you smile. We love this DIY version over on Kojo-Designs which is cheap and cheerful to recreate…
