In the Details: 21 Swoon-worthy Wedding Dress Backs

Fashion & Jewellery

One of the major bridal trends carrying through to 2015 is the elaborate back. It’s not hard to see why low and lavishly embellished backs are so lusted after – they’re a great way to add a blast of glamour or a hint of daring to even the most demure dress. Not only is this a super stylish look, but a fabulous wedding dress back could even give you an extra little glint in your eye as you walk up the aisle – think of it this way; your OH and guests are already blown away by your beauty when you enter the room, then as you slowly glide your way up to the altar, the most beautiful feature of your wedding dress is revealed row by row – can’t you just hear the gasps even as you read this?! As weird as it sounds, often guests and photographers will spend the first hour or two of your wedding staring at your back and again during your first dance (unless you’re planning some sort of Chorus Line type showcase of course – and if you are, we very much need to see your wedding video) so a feature at the back of your dress is a nice way to know you’re looking like a super glam bride from every angle!

Dresses with incredible backs are some of the most reposted pics on Pinterest (and of course feel free to Pin any of the beautiful photos below!) but today we’ve featured all new collections to give you even more ideas of what you can do with a wedding dress! Of course there’s plenty more inspiration on our Wedding Dress Details board on the official weddingsonline Pinterest page and as always on our fabulous fashion pages (even if we do say so ourselves!)
