The unusual cornflour blue, button-down bridesmaid dresses with gorgeous lace capped sleeves looked absolutely stunning on the girls at this beautiful wedding at the Heritage Killenard. We are loving this cornflour blue look, and ASOS have some amazing styles in stock at the moment. To the left is a sexy yet elegant embellished v-neck thigh high split dress from TFNC at ASOS, the middle gown is a very on-trend cold shoulder cashmere blue gown with a shorter split while to the right is a more formal take on the look from Monsoon which features a halter neck, blouson body and elasticated waist. If you want to mix and match colours, these will look fab with a pale pink or off-white shade on younger bridesmaids perhaps.

Gorgeous glittery bridesmaids dresses have become a huge trend particularly for winter wedding and we just can’t get enough of them. Stunning bride Sabrina dressed her lucky ladies in glamorous full length gold dresses with a cowl back to which they added beautiful sheer ribbon to really accentuate their fab figures. We’ve chose three gorgeous gowns that are a little different but that retain that full on glittery feel; a beautiful, formal gold gown from designer Sorella Vita at Pearls & Lace Bridal Boutique (left), an elegant grey halter from Monsoon (middle) and a heavily embellished gold guna from Jenny Packham at Debenhams.

Mint is a beautiful colour for summer weddings and lots of brides are opting for this shade for bridesmaids and pairing it with a subtle pink and strong green in flowers. It can be a tricky colour to pull off for some skin tones, so make sure it suits everyone before committing! We found some gorgeous mint dresses online and our favourite were this super elegant one shoulder embellished chiffon maxi dress from ASOS (left), sheer neckline light green beaded dress by No1 by Jenny Packham from Debenhams and short slinky mint dress with crossover straps and hand beaded belt from Monsoon.

Purple has always been a hugely popular colour for Irish bridesmaids and continues to make an appearance in lots of our real weddings. One shade we love lately is a pale lilac which looks amazing even if you have a huge bridal party. We’re loving the stunning lace bodice gown with soft skirt and beautiful belt detail from Debenhams (left), the very cute and very fun tea length lavender gown with bow detail from ASOS (middle) and beautiful sheer and semi sheer floral burnout devore bodice dress from Coast.

A huge trend in bridesmaids fashion lately is vintage style sequin or embellished dresses and one bridal party who pulled it off perfectly were the girls in navy Folkster gowns at Tara and Gearóid’s beautiful wedding at the Keadeen Hotel. We’ve found some great alternatives to these beautiful pieces that give off a feminine, glamorous feel that bridesmaids will love.
