Wedding Decor – 12 Fabulous Ways to Display Your Table Names

Décor & Flowers

Table numbers are a practical way to direct guests to where they’re sitting and they’re a great way to tie in your colour scheme or theme. There are so many creative ways to display your table numbers or names – frames are one of the easiest ways and you can pick up tons of varieties from flea markets to department stores to suit your style whether you’re after a girly, eclectic or uber glamorous vibe. If you’re not keen on frames, books and embroidery hoops are a quirky way to showcase your table numbers and will add a homely, eclectic touch to your tablescape.

For those looking to create a fun and whimsical display, there are lots of cute options from bobbing balloons to pinwheels (check out this tutorial here) and DIY style flags. Paper flags are easy enough to make with some glue, cards, scissors, skewers and pens and can be made in everything from glittering gold card to kraft paper card depending on your theme and style – or if you’re after something a little sturdier, be sure to have a peek at this tutorial for burlap flags here. Old wine corks can also come in handy for DIY projects – tie a bunch of them together with twine and pop a piece of card inside with your number on it. Or if you’re after something just as crafty, but even easier – tie gift tags to mason jars filled with flowers for a sweet and rustic edge.

If you can bear to graffiti your vintage china, this a super pretty way to add some colour and work really well for a vintage-inspired wedding. Another favourite has to be wine or water bottles – you can make some custom labels to replace the original label with the table number printed on it or hang a heart shaped tag or chalk board from the neck of the bottle with the number scrawled on it in a pretty font.
