Apparently he was designing the ring with the jeweller for a year!

According to Daily Mail (and we all know that that is the most reliable source of information it was $250k. But that's probably pocket money to them!

I actually saw a ring like that in a jewellers one day, it was an identical style. It was €17k (I'm sure Ange's cost a lot more than that) and I thought now if I had €17k that is not the ring I'd buy. I really wouldn't be a fan of that style. Each to their own though!

Her hands do look very old but she's so thin it's not really surprising.

There's a strand of hair caught on the ring and I want it. I'll bet Angelina has great hair, thick and long.

Trust you to notice that! You know you've a problem when you are more interested in the hair than the whopping great diamond. That's some piece of jewellery alright.

Gosh I don't like her ring at all :eek

I'm a fan of diamonds with square edges ( you know like baguette shapes, or emerald-cut and princess-cut stones, my own e-ring is a princess cut) but I think this one looks really gaudy and old-fashioned.

I often think that when I see GIANT ROCK engagement rings on celebrities (you know ones that take up the whole space between the knuckle on your hand and the first knuckle on your finger). I think big stones can be gorgeous (I have serious ring envy of one of my customers who has what looks like a 2 carat stone) but I think there's a point where they go from being classy-"wow" to tacky-"wow".

:o0 You mentaller. I have a cousin like you and she always seems to be trying to "groom" me. As the thyroid is bad at the mo I losing loads and I reckon she must have a massive ball stashed somewhere.

I am not a fan of the ring tbh. I just don't like the diamonds all around like that.
