i went to the Moderne, they had a nice selection.Bridal bliss in Blackpool is lovely also with a very helpful girl called Sharon in there. She takes a great interest as she is a fashion student.
I wouldnt go past Angel Brides in Midleton. they have a lovely selection, great layout and privacy. The girls i met are Carol, Olivia (the owner) and Bernie. They are the most helpful and honest i came across.

didn't think the moderne was great at all. Rice n Roses in cork is only brilliant. Got my dress there Monday, soo relieved and excited! There's a beautiful shop in Kilgarvan in Kerry, it's an old converted church, it's so magical. it stock San Patrick and Pronovais too. Esposa in Bandon is good too.

Would second the other posters... got my dress in Rice n Roses in Douglas and they were fantastic, service so personal but not pushy. Getting BM dresses from Marie in the Ivory Rose in Passage west.. really helpful lady. also the place in kilgarvan is lovely, and stocks pronovias and la sposa. Happy shopping :wv

dont get too worried about finding THE dress. i got mine after my 8th visit! i know that sounds terrible, but the dresses are all so lovely. i was expecting to get the same feeling when my stomach jumped when i saw THE engagement ring when we went to pick it out. i was getting a bit worried when heard other brides stories about seeing THE dress after 3/4 ones they tried on. i was really happy with my dress when i got it, its gorgeous, but i don't know does that feeling of THE dress exist, well not for me! Best of luck :wv

Hi,

I really liked Sharon Gregory's in Mallow (and she's open late on Wed nights) and the bridal shop in Castleisland (not sure of name). Both really really nice, friendly, genuine and not remotely pushy!

def try Abheil in Adare-saw one or 2 that I like there. Finesse & Urma in Listowel also very good. Urma will just have you & crowd in there and no other bride. so you get full attention. nice selection of dresses. Patricia's Bridal in Newcastlewest also very helpful. I'm planning on trying Ennis next to see if anything different.

Thanks! :thnk I went to a place called Amore in Youghal on Friday. The girls there are lovely. I found 2 dresses that I liked and will definitely go back with my BMs for a second look. It was my first shop and I thought it was very good, a nice selection and the prices weren't ott. One of the dresses was 1700 but my fav one was 1400, so not too bad. Not at all the style I thought I'd go for
I've booked some appointments for the next few weekends, all the girls have been a great help with the names of good shops. :xox Hadn't realised how long in advance you need to book for a Saturday. Heading to New York next month so I'll see what's on offer there too, it's a short trip so there won't be much time to shop for dresses. Reckon I might be better taking my time in Ireland to find the right dress. Thanks again :thnk
