Garth Brooks

Postby LuckyYear2013 » Mon Jan 28, 2013 2:02 pm

One of his songs came on earlier, and I must admit, I absolutely adore his music. It got me thinking that I would love to go to a concert of his. I thought I heard that he's planning on coming to Ireland touring soon, but when I googled it, I couldn't find anything. Was I dreaming?

The Dance is my favourite song of his! What's yours?
I remember listening to his tape over and over as a youngster, that I had copied from a friend on my 2 player stereo that I thought was the business!!

I think he's doing an extended run in Las Vegas so can't see him performing here for a long time anyways.
Does anyone know where I can download his songs?!
They're not available on itunes.
Didn't he lose the plot for a while?

think it was just rumours that he was coming to ireland cause i know hes tied into a contract in vegas- we where going to see him but at 200dollars A Ticket decided we didnt like him that much. when i was much younger my favourite song was unanswered prayers. dont know why- wish id been older when he was at croke park- would loved to have been there. anyways maybe he might come to ireland soon- not to soon i wudda thought tho.

I love Garth Brooks , seen him a few times and i tried really hard to get hubby to go to Vegas for our honeymoon and then again for my 30th but both times hubby had something so romantic organised i gave in straight away. I love all his music but my top favs would be ....
We Shall Be Free
We Bury The Hatchet
Two Of A Kind, Workin' On A Full House
To Make You Feel My Love
Not Counting You
Mr. Blue
Ireland
Friends In Low Places
American Honky-Tonk Bar Association
Ain’t Goin Down (Till The Sun Comes Up)

Think that will do for now.

LOVE Garth Brooks...thought I was the only female in late twenties/early thirties to still like him.

Wasn't so keen when he changed his name (Chris something or other) but the older stuff is great.

Love them! Myself and himself (who isn't Irish) have started singing Ireland anytime we go abroad and are on the way back. That's it, I'm off to search for his albums online.

I love Garth Brooks, missed his Vegas Shows by 4 days when I was going there, gutted. Got my mum a great dvd/cd thing of his a few years ago, it's great!

I love so many of his songs, but Friends in Low Places has to be one of my faves.

I think he has said that he won't be going on tour until his kids are adults or somthing like that. Might be another while to go.
