Re: Leap year!
Are you the girl that did it during the match?? H2B was telling me about it earlier - talk about putting a girl on edge, in front of that many people!
Even if you're not - fair balls to ya, and congrats, great story for the grandkids either way

Re: Leap year!
Oh sorry girls, I forgot my user name and couldn't log in! LOL
I'm not the girl that proposed on telly, I wouldn't be that brave! Well, we're together 15 years, and had agreed to get engaged beforehand, so he wasn't totally shocked
I had planned to go for a meal and had got a t-shirt made with "She asked me to marry her" on it, our names and date on the back, but he had to meet a man about a dog so that went out the window, lucky for him as I was gonna make him wear it in the restaurant
anyway, he came home for lunch and I had the t-shirt on the table, I got an old ring box and but a Haribo jelly ring in it
it was very funny, we were all giddy and excited
we have two sons and couldn't wait for them to finish school to tell them, they're very happy too!
He took a photo of the t-shirt, uploaded it to facebook and changed his relationship status, which sent our whole family into a frenzy of excited texts and phone calls, which was very funny and I was totally overwhelmed with the positive reactions from everyone, I'm also pleasantly surprised by peoples reaction to the fact that I asked him, wedding will hopefully be summer 2013, if all goes to plan
Have nothing planned and not an iota where to start, but sure i'm sure i'll get all the info I need here
