Hi Ladies...i'm back

How's the plans going for everyone?
I know this is so cliche, but I have to tell you I had the time of my life!!! Me and Michael cannot stop talking about it, neither can our guests, I could cry every time i think about our 2 weeks there, but especially our wedding day.
I'm not going to lie, I woke up at 5.45am and very nearly had a panic attack, my poor sisters had to try and calm me down. Once the photographer arrived and my mum arrived, I was fine. We got ready in my hotel room in the Hotel Bristol - what a fabulous view - and had a glass or 2 of champagne to celebrate.
The cars arrived to take us to Positano and the rest of the guests had already been picked up from their hotels (the older guests) and a specified pick-up area (the younger guests).
The drive to Positano with my father was fantastic, we had such a great time together and he gave me 1 piece of advice which I didn't even really think about and which was the best advice all day: look around you in the church as you are walking up the aisle, look at all your guests and smile and enjoy every second.
I was actually a little early as I hate being late and the priest in santa Maria Assunta will warn you not to be late lol This meant I was able to stand at the doors of the church with my Dad and look in at everyone and smile and wave, remembering every guest.
The walk through Positano and back up again was magical, I have to say, and this was one of the parts I was most looking forward to.
Our cars took everyone back to Villa Antiche Mura and what can I say - people were blown away!!!
The staff treated us like we were movie stars, amazing view, amazing food, so professional and luxurious, people are still talking about it now. I'm so glad i didn't stay at home and do the usual hotel thing, it was unbelievable!!!!
My husband plays in a band and so has quite a few musical mates - we didn't have a band, so our friends sang 3 songs for us and Michael sang a song for me - all just with the accoustic guitar. We had all our music on our laptop and took that to play during the apperitif and dinner and then after the songs, we have it separated into different stages of the day and it was great! No cheesey DJ stuff, all our own great music.
After the reception, everyone headed into town to the "Irish" bar - those of you who know Sorrento, will know this place. I walked in after all my guests had already arrived, with the bottom of my dress slung over my shoulder and we went mental in there!!!! "Seamus" the owner ;) played the "here comes the bride" tune as I walked in and the whole place erupted and more dancing began

It was the best day of my life and the week before and after were just the best craic we've ever had all together.
Transport:
http://www.eurolimo.it/en/ i can't recommend them enough, great prices, very professional, excellent english and loads of patience!
Reception: Villa Antiche Mura - unreal - worth every penny and the food is EXCELLENT!!
Church - Santa Maria Assunta - wow
hairdresser - recommended by Michele - i took a photo and she was fantastic, great English, very friendly
Florist - Super Fiori - just on the corner of the next little square off Piazza tasso if you are walking towards the cloisters and the elevator to the beaches. I just popped in when I was there and choose my flowers. My brother picked them up on the morning and they were gorgeous 140 euros for 3 bouquets, 7 button holes and 2 corsages.
Photographer: Francesco De Tito - very lovely him and his wife, arrived for 8am and didn't leave till after our friends had sang after the cake cutting and first dance. I'm waiting on my photos and I can't wait to see them!!!
Anything else you need to know, feel free. You are so lucky girls - you picked the right place in Sorrento and you won't regret it. We got engaged there 3 years ago, so our wedding was really special to us and I can't wait to go back there again
