Hi. Found this site really useful during my planning and wanted to provide feedback on my some of the main suppliers in the hope it might help someone else:

Dunboyne Castle. Could not fault them one bit. So brilliant to deal and looked after everyone and everything on the day.
AllAboutWeddings As it was Valentine’s day, flowers were going to cost a fortune so got all bouquets, corsages and pew ends in silk from these great ladies. Excellent value and so easy to deal with. Can customise to your needs
Bohemian Strings Had the quartet for the church music based on recommendations from here. They were fabulous and everyone was commenting on the beautiful music
Glamourize Bridal (Gorey) Ended up getting my dress here and they were excellent to deal with. More then €500 cheaper than other shops I’d tried and the alterations were minimal on top of this. Ended up borrowing a veil and getting shoes in Nine West but they have a good stock of these also.
Anne Brady This lady based in Dunboyne made our bridesmaid dresses and did a fabulous job.
Angela Gallagher Fab make up artist who is so nice and lovely to have around on the morning. She also came to my house a couple of days beforehand and did our tans as well. Great value and make up lasted all day
Therese Aherne Brilliant Photographer. So easy going and takes mainly candid shots which has resulted in an amazing slideshow that really captured the mood of the day. Everyone was raving about her. Excellent value as well.
Heffernan Cars Had a gorgeous red Bentley. Absolutely no trouble at all and driver was so nice.

Jenny thats great news, I'm also getting married in dunboyne, could I ask you what courses you chose, and what you would reccomend? Also dod you get chair covers? How many did you have in the room, was the small bar open?

Hi bommer. We didn't get chair covers and the room still looked fab. Small bar opened once everyone was sat for dinner. We had 150 sitting for dinner and there was loads of room. Also meant we didn't have to cover the dance floor at all and have to move people after dinner. To eat we had: Chicken caesar salad, tomato and red pepper soup, fillet of beef and the apple crumble. all went down a treat. HTH
