Heya
Just been looking at ASk the Experts and someone asked about Spring Break and George didnt know - i've been to see them in the Sugar Club and they are COOL!!! 80's band but they play all the real cheesy music like the Baywatch theme and that! I didnt think i'd like them but they rocked and had everyone on the dancefloor. They seem to play a lot in the Sugar Club in Dublin so maybe check them out there if you can

Hi there
yes they are fab - we had them at our Christmas party and everyone loved them. We have booked them for our wedding also as I thought it would be something different from the usual wedding band, however I hope that noone will be cross that we won't be having any slow waltzes etc.

K_doll, have you ever seen them at a wedding before and do you have any ideas for what this should play as your first dance?

Hi Spotty, i haven't seen them at a wedding, just at a few gigs around Dublin. We're still not sure what to get for our first dance, we're thinking something really cheesy and funny, like The Glory of Love by Pete Cetera, that would fit in with what the band are about. But then I'm not sure if everyone would get the joke. And maybe we should go for something that means something too us instead of the cheese...so hard. What are you thinking of having?

not sure yet, but we are all about something funny and cheesy. My other half wanted the "Love and Marriage" by Frank Sinatra, not because he is a big Sinatra fan but because he loves the sit-com "Married with Children!".

we are going to wait until the band sends us out their set-list and pick something from there, but I think Glory of Love would be perfect - it's funny but also quite cute as I am sure lots of people had their first "slow dance" to it at discos in the 80s
