What kids say... just for laughs!

Postby bobby2012 » Wed Nov 14, 2012 6:34 pm

I'm very successfully raising his father's son. His latest gem just now was:

"Mummy is carrot a vegetable or food?"
"Both, honey."
"No not both, vegetable or food, it's not the same!"

What are some of the funny / original things you've ever heard kids say?

My Little Brother when he was a bit younger told his Teacher my dad brushes his teeth in a bikini.
Another day he was acting up and my mam said to him she was sick of his behavior, his response cool as a cucumber "get a job you won't have to see me as much"I think he was 4!!!
He is ten now & just exceedingly clever I swear he knows more than me!

Our 8 year old delivers some clangers... he's desperate for peeping over my shoulder when I'm typing on the laptop. When I went to change my surname on facebook he came up behind me and said "Is your middle name really "Optional"? What was Nana thinking?!" - he's a gas little lad.

I worked in a creche for a while and one of the kids mothers came in and told us she was pregnant again. A 4 year old in my room was listening to all this and asked me what pregnant meant. I told him that X's mummy had a baby inside her tummy. He thought about this for a few seconds and then piped up; 'Oh she must have eaten it then!'

I have started to tell my 2 year old that the tv is getting HOT so we have to turn it off for it to COOL down for a while. Yesterday he asked me if the tv was COOKED yet? as he wanted it turned back on LOL.

My Mam was in Tesco a good few years ago and heard these two tiny girls (probably no more than four) skipping around the supermarket with their Mam singing, loudly, 'I wanna have sex twice a week' obviously after mishearing the lyrics to 'Sex on the Beach'!

I mind a little 12-month old at th emoment and she's full of babble and chat. Some words like Mamma and ta-ta for thank you are clear but there's a lot of other babble that's not quite clear yet. Last week I had the radio on and some Latin-type music came on, can't even remember what it was, but we were dancing around the room anyway and I said to her 'Hey Gringo, do you like this Latin music yes? Hey Gringo' putting on a fake Mexican accent like. Straight away she repeated, clear as a bell, 'Hey Gringo'. Jesus WEPT! Her mother is going to kill me!

Priceless!! :yelrotflmaosmilie: :yelrotflmaosmilie:

Today my nephew told me i look younger than his mother (i'm older) and i was delighted with myself. He then informed me that "younger doesn't mean prettier". Happy moment ruined!!

My 'little' brother is now 23. When he was 5 he MTV was on in the room and a programme on Michael Jackson was on. He came running into the kitchen after seeing it and shouts 'Oh my God, Michael Jackson used to be BLACK!!!!'

he's only ever known him as white :o0
