Hi girls,

Just wondering what sort of veil you bought? I'm going for a one tier fingertip veil but my mind just boggles at all the different trims!! Pearl edge, cut, rattail, sheer, ribbon etc! What did you go for? Thanks!

I bought a cathedral length veil which I never ever thought I would! It just happened to set off my dress really well though. Mine doesn't have a trim but has tiny diamantés scattered randomly on it so it sparkles a little bit.

I have similar to yourself.
Fingertip, single layer, edge cut..

My dress is quite ornate, so i went for no trimmings whatsover.

Sounds very like what Im going to order, just one tier. Was going to go for finger tip but tried on the longer one and loved it. Who would have thought!

Oh God, I had such dilemmas - to veil or not to veil. All the ones i Tried On in the shops were one tier cathedral length which were horrible on me. I took a leap of faith, ordered a two tier cathedral length. My dress is plain satin so I got a satin edge. I it it was like it was made for my dress!!

I haven't bought mine yet but with less than six months to go I am starting to worry about it. I recently came across this great website www.purebliss.ie which do lovely veils at good prices. They send you out samples of their colours too, as I am currently waiting on one. So when I decide on what colour matches I have a whole new dilemma of what I actually want. Picked the h2b's suits awhile back and couldn't help thinking how easy he's got it! A quick shower and shave and into his clothes and off he goes!

i went with a cathedral length veil with a detachable blusher so i can wear the shorter half for the evening. it's cut edge with embroidery near the edges & crystals. looks like it was made for the dress!
it all depends on your dress and the details on it!

I got mine from http://www.celdesignjewellery.com/, i sent her an image of what i was looking for and she gave loads of good advice.
I havent received mine yet ( 4 weeks lead time ) but i like the cut edge because it appears more floaty to me.. i just want it to be as plain as possible, so its there but doesnt detract from the dress..She uses illusion tulle, i had played around with the idea of silk tulle, but the price was a decider there.
