Inventive, unobtrusive, humorous and emotional … these are just some of the adjectives that people have used to describe my style: documentary photography with an artistic edge.I believe that wedding photography should combine stylish storytelling with raw emotion. It should be visually compelling with no preconceived notions of how a wedding image should look.I try to avoid controlling situations, rather I try to let them develop. I just blend in with the background and let events take their course. I can't say enough good things about Shane. He has a special way of bringing the best out in people and capturing it. He had such a positive influence on the whole day, not only taking pictures but also making sure everything fell into place correctly. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with all the way through and our pictures are just stunning. It's the only thing we have left from our day so I'm thrilled we picked such a spectacular photographer

Shane was the first supplier I booked, I would have changed my date had he not been available. Photography should top everyone's list when looking at suppliers. That, and your video if you choose to have one, are the only things you will take away from the day and have permanently so it is always going to be money well spent.......if you pick the right one. And Shane was worth every cent. From beginning to end, Shane was amazing to deal with and on the day he was so much fun whilst capturing every aspect of the day in his usual unobtrusive way. Thank you Shane! You have left us with so many beautiful pictures (and fun memories) to treasure forever x

When we were planning our wedding, the photography was one of the things we spent the most time researching. We looked at lots of portfolios and even met a number of photographers before deciding on Shane. On the day itself Shane was fantastic - friendly, inconspicuous and really helpful. When we received our photos, we were blown away. Even having seen his portfolio, it is so different when the pics are of your own wedding and they are so amazing. Especially when the weeks and months pass by and your memory of the day gets a bit foggier, when I look at my wedding pics, the mood comes right back to me. I can say with no hesitation that of all our wedding suppliers, Shane impressed us the most and I feel it was the best money we spent on the day.

Shane?s creativity was amazing. Originally, I wasn?t overjoyed at the thought of posing for lots of photos on the wedding day, but after our consultation session with Shane I couldn?t wait to take the photographs. Shane was able to talk through what each of us wanted and make a few artistic suggestions on how both the formal photos and documentary style photos would be captured. The end result exceeded both our expectations.
On the day Shane was great to have around, putting us all at ease, mixing well with everyone, blending in discretely taking photographs. The wedding guests were amazed at how quickly we got our formal photos taken, while we didn?t feel rushed at all.
The video Shane created for us perfectly captured all the emotion and fun of the day. Every time I watch it (and I?ve watched it alot!) I well up, with a big smile on my face, re-living all the special moments of our day again and again.

Shane was a joy to work with, he was very professional with a laid back style but still managed to get his job done. He made everyone feel at ease, In terms of his pics they where also excellent, he managed to catch the mood of the place and the guest. I would have no problem recommending him, I just love my album and everybody who has seen it were very impressed. He also gives you a high quality disc with all photos taken on the day which most photographers charge extra for. A pure pleasure to work with.
