We just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to Chris for playing at our wedding drinks reception.

It was such a pleasure meeting him, and we truly enjoyed his music — it added such a special touch to the day!

So many of our guests commented on how much they loved Chris' performance and recognized the songs he played. It really gave the reception a unique character and helped set the perfect tone as we had guests from so many different parts of the world and they all heard a familiar song throughout the performance. We couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere.

Thanks again for being part of our celebration — it meant a lot to us!

We had the pleasure of having Chris perform at our wedding ceremony in Tinakilly house and the music was perfect. He was so lovely to deal with and nothing was too much trouble! You can tell he really loves what he does and honestly is the most talented guitarist.

Chris blew everyone away with his talent, it seems he can play any genre of music, he was incredible and created such a wonderful atmosphere. I had the pleasure of meeting Chris a few months earlier when he played a house party and he played everything from jazz to rock to Celtic he is truly gifted and it was great to see him again in a completely different setting. His talent fits every occasion! Chris is so friendly and so talented It was a pleasure to be a part of both occasions.

Genuinely one of the most extraordinary musicians I've ever heard. Such incredible versatility -from dance floor thumping hard rock to mesmorising classical guitar and not forgetting his haunting traditional Irish airs and melodies. Abs did I mention what a lovely person he is to deal with. Book him for any event - I promise you will not be disappointed.

We booked Chris for our wedding at The Merrion Hotel in October 2024 for both our ceremony and drinks reception. Chris was a complete professional from start to finish, he has an extensive repertoire and exceeded our expectations in every way - we knew he was great but he is absolutely amazing. Our guests all commented that he is an extremely talented musician and loved the music.

I would book Chris 1000 times over and would absolutely recommend him to other couples for their wedding day, you won’t regret it!!

There is no way I can write a review that does justice to the fabulous music provided by Chris . Whatever I say here will fall short, but I'll give it my best shot.
Every interaction with Chris was punctual professional and fun. He is one of those rare talents who you can tell has the music in him, it's not just a job, he breathes it! Every single guest commented how great the music was and the drinks reception was brought alive with celebration with all of Chris's vast playlists. My partner is English and I have some family from America so a lot of our wedding guests from England and US loved hearing traditional Irish music but Chris also played loads of beautiful popular and love songs which delighted the guests and set the mood as well as some flamenco which is a favourite of mine! Everything from our booking to the wedding day was so smooth. I cannot recommend Chris Comhaill enough. Thank you for making our day so special, Chris!

We were married on 13 July 2024 and Chris was our guitarist. He was amazing in every way! In the lead up he helped us plan and had an in-depth zoom with us where he was able to advise us and give us some really useful insights. We even talked to Chris before we talked to our celebrant and it actually made things so much easier as Chris clued us in on some things we had no idea about. On the day Chris was early. He happily entertained our guests with music while there was a 30 minute delay to the start of our ceremony, and was amazing throughout in his performance.

We had been fans of Chris's music for some time having had seen him performing at two friends weddings the previous year and we knew he would be the absolutely perfect musical compliment. From following Chris online since we first met him we knew he played with lots of other amazing musicians and we decided to add a package and book Chris alongside a second guitar player that Chris performs with. The lads call themselves Strings Attached guitar duo and they were simply sublime. They played a big range of styles for us and didn't seem to be a bother at all to them; they even did a rock n roll request for my father whos a big Jonny b goode fan. They did a special guitar version of my favourite song 'what a wonderful world' too and it melted hearts. In the run up Chris had a meeting with me to discuss everything and was ever so helpful in helping me plan. I couldn't recommend him more highly, everything was what I imagined and more.

A true professional and wonderful musician that brings a great ambience to any event. We had a church wedding and Chris’s music lit up the church in such a magical way. He was so helpful when it came to helping us picking our songs and he was even flexible to learn a song on request which played us out. We also booked Chris for the drinks reception and his music brought the party to life. I particularly love jazz and swing music and he was happy to oblige with lots of upbeat jazz that had people in such a great mood.

We had Chris play for our ceremony and drinks reception and I can safely say he was the musical highlight of the day! He set the mood perfectly with a selection of stunning Celtic music during our ceremony and even learned some special requests songs for us walking in and out to. All our guests were raving about his music during the drinks reception which was hugely diverse from pop songs to jazz and blues and even some beautiful movie soundtrack music - it was so eclectic and kept everyone stimulated, there really was something for everyone!

On top of all this Chris was courteous, super-responsive and full of helpful ideas and advice throughout. Couldn’t recommend him more highly - book him now , you won’t be disappointed!!!
