We hired Eric Ronan for our wedding in stamullen and ardgillan castle. We hired Eric Ronan from a referral and we truly are delighted we did.

To say Eric was a gentleman would be an understatement. The man orchestrated our wedding photos and kept all guests entertained, smiling and in tune with our entire proceeding.

He done his research with our family set up before hand and arrived early and ready for what was an amazing day. Eric ushered people around like he knew them all his life taking extra care with older folk and having a joke to keep everyone laughing. He got to know all our guests and kept them all laughing with big great smiles all day.

Eric kept us at ease and on time all day. Capturing beautiful indoor, outdoor, traditional and funny wedding photos.

Eric Ronan photography gets 11/10 from us as he was just picture perfect for our day. All round awesome guy, with amazing people skills, photography skills and would highly recommend his services for any special occasion.

Eric is an absolute gentleman ! We had an unusual small intimate family wedding. Eric went above and beyond to ensure that he made our day very special and made our family and guests feel comfortable. His engaging and friendly personality made the experience of posing all that more enjoyable and he constantly made our guests laugh which contributed significantly to everyone enjoying the experience He took every wish of ours into account including having our beloved dogs and my Volkswagen Beetle captured and I really feel he made a considerable effort to get to know us as a couple, talking in advance as to what we wished to achieve. He is an absolute pleasure to spend time with and I would recommend him to everyone no matter how big, small, conventional or unconventional your wedding is. He thinks outside the box! We recently received our photos and were blown away by how well he portrayed us as a couple and our life, including our local surroundings of where we grew up. He constantly had spontaneous ideas and an eye for the perfect photographic opportunity. Thank you so so much again Eric, We are currently trying to choose between the vast array of wonderful photos as to which we will hang up and frame first! The photos are, without doubt, the most important part of your wedding day, so it is so important that you choose the best photographer - I can say unequivocally that Eric Ronan is exactly that! Eric can somehow be the most charming and entertaining person in the room without detracting the slightest bit of attention from the Bridal party. Some people don't enjoy having their photos taken, I am certainly one of those people, but Eric makes it feel fun and relaxed. He is funny and friendly and puts everyone at ease. As well as having the most glowing personality, Eric knows his trade inside out. He captured moments and scenes that I never could have imagined. He had never worked at our venue before, and yet he instantly spotted the perfect photo opportunities and he even directed our videographer, so that every moment captured on film was perfect! Even with his extensive knowledge of his art and his unbounded creativity, he still takes the time to ensure that he has captured everything you hoped he would, he always considers your requests and does his utmost to make them a reality. After providing an absolute perfect service on your wedding day, Eric keeps up his professionalism to the very end of your dealings with him - he is responsive to all your queries and you'll receive your albums much more quickly than I would have expected. The quality of his albums are exceptional, I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the photos and how they were presented. Looking through my album made laugh with joy and even brought a tear to my eye, he caught every special moment - some I didn't even know had happened and he made me feel beautiful - something I wouldn't have believed was possible. Eric is an absolute superstar!

There was no doubt in our minds what so ever when we chose Eric as our photographer... from the first meeting he had covered everything that we had no questions left unanswered. He had ideas for our photos in our venue from that initial meeting which just left all our trust him him to create magic. On the day Eric was like another family member rather than a supplier he had such a good rapport with our guests and it just shows in our photos. From start to finish our day with Eric was brilliant. He put everybody at ease from the start and this continued throughout the day. From the start Eric was amazing, he exceeded all expectations we had, we had a winter wedding and were limited with daylight hours and Eric knew exactly what to do in order to get the most out of the time we had with the outdoor photos. He was extremely responsive to every correspondence we had and kept us updated on our albums, to which we cannot fault. We also had owls for our photos (which we decided on after booking Eric) and he was brilliant, not something he works with everyday or every wedding but he took what we wanted and made it work and I have some amazing photos to show for it. If ever I need professional photos taken again I will.be straight back to him no question.

Eric was a dream to work with from start to finish. I met Eric at the wedding show in Citywest. I had met several photographers that day, but Eric really stood out to me.

Other photographers I found were quite pushy and kept pushing their own ideas forward, whereas Eric asked me what exactly I was looking for and we built on from there. He took the time to understand that me and my husband were camera shy so we wanted him to be hidden throughout as much as possible while still capturing those special moments, he also made sure to find out the important pictures we wanted for example it was so important to us to have a picture with our grandparents who are in their 80's.

On the day Eric put us at ease straight away, he had us laughing the whole way through our special day. His skills in time and crowd management are exceptional and he must have the patience of a saint to deal with my aunt standing infront of him all day trying to take her own snaps on her disposable kodak camera. :)

We had our wedding on the 25th November in Kilkenny. We had our photographs taken at the castle so our time management was essential throughout the day to ensure we had enough light at the castle for our photoshoot. Eric was exceptional in this regard, he made sure he had all pictures he knew we wanted as well as his own creative snaps which have become so important to me now.

For any couple due to get married, the one piece of advice everyone tells you is to make the most of your day - it is the quickest day of your life. You treasure your photographs so much after your wedding day.

I can't recommend Eric highly enough, he truly was extraordinary in his preparation and his presence on the day. His photographs are so beautiful and capture the moment so perfectly.

From the first contact with Eric he put both of us at ease as we had a change in venue. He was so professional and on the day everything ran so smoothly and he put my nerves to ease. I can?t recommend Eric enough, from our first meeting to the delivery of our album he was a consummate professional with a great eye and flair for creativity.

On the day itself he kept everybody at ease and injected a lot of fun when gathering people for photos. We?re delighted we chose Eric to photograph our wedding. We really liked the style of the photos in the galleries on his website and once we met Eric, booking him as our photographer was an easy decision. Eric was a pleasure to deal with, from start to finish. He?s an excellent photographer, was relaxed yet super-organised on the day, he worked quickly and took a great selection of natural and more formal photos. Eric got on really well with our family and friends, and put everyone at ease as he snapped away. We were delighted with the selection of photos we received from him after our big day, the hardest part was narrowing down the selection for the album, as we had so many great shots to choose from! I can?t recommend Eric highly enough... he?s a great guy and an even better photographer.

We booked Eric for our wedding on 31st March 2012 at Dunboyne Castle. We couldnt thank him enough for helping us on the day. He guided us through everything and made us feel at ease. We just followed his lead throughout the day and everything went so smoothly. Our photographs are fabulous and we had a hard time "agreeing" on our choice of photos as they were all beautiful! We first met Eric Ronan at a wedding fair in Trim Castle in '08 although we were not there to pick a photographer the quality of Eric's photo's caught our eye and after a short conversation with him we knew he was the man for the job. On the day of the wedding this proved to be true as he made us comfortable throughout the day with his courteous and professional manner. He also made the whole experience fun. The album turned out to be the icing on the cake as it was far more then we ever expected, the pictures were so clear and the album was very well done, we would have no problem recommending him to any of our friends and family.

We used Eric for our wedding on 29th August 2009, all the family and wedding party commented on how professional and calm he was, he organised everyone very well, was very polite while doing it, took some amazing shots, and we got our album back very quickly. He answered all our queries leading up to the day, was available to talk to, and full of great imaginative ideas for the photos. I would have no hesitation in recommending him as a photographer, not just for weddings, as he put everyone at ease. (We also had great banter with him on the day too which helped our nerves!)

Our wedding day was a wet and windy day but Eric made it fun and enjoyable. The album he produced is just amazing and everyone comments on how unusual and beautiful it is. He is a super photographer and a lovely person to work with. Not only did he produce a wonderful album but he also put together a lovely slide show containing all the album pictures and also some extra ones we couldn?t fit into the album. Best part too is, Eric will give you a CD with every photo he takes that day and your free to do whatever you like with them.
