French Wedding Cakes

What a beautiful and delicious oeuvre d?art Julien created for us. A wonderful creation that thrilled everyone. I didn?t believe it could taste better than it looked. But it did!

I am so happy that Julien did our wedding cake! Being both French but getting married in Ireland I wanted to add a French touch to the reception and having a croquembouche as a wedding cake was something I was really hoping for...not only the croquembouche looked absolutely amazing , but also, being displayed during dinner time, it aroused a lot of admiration.
We worked with Julien so that the colours will match our overall lilac floral decoration and he did an amazing job at that. And last but not least, it tasted like heaven! Thanks for adding this touch of class to our wedding!

We got married last Saturday and had one of Julien's amazing creations for our wedding cake. The croquembouche and the chocolate ganache base cake were delicious! From the very start we really loved our discussions with Julien. He is a genuinely lovely, kind, and positive person. His enthusiasm for his work is infectious, and he had lots of helpful suggestions and ideas. We loved tasting his delicious creations to prepare for the big day, and make the important decisions about which cake to choose. The cake on the day really had the wow factor and our guests took loads of photos of it. Dave and I loved our delicious wedding cake. The service offered is second to none and we would recommend any couple to get their cake with French Wedding Cakes. Julien also took great care and went to great lengths to keep our guest with nut allergy safe. It was very much appreciated. I'd get married again just to have some more cake!

Julien is so incredibly talented! We were married last weekend and our wedding cake was just amazing, it looked superb and tasted even better! We chose a three tier cake of fruit, vanilla sponge and chocolate, each one was delicious. Thankfully we got to take some home! As a very late request Julien also made a cake for my dads birthday, a chocolate covered lemon cake. Julien is a gentleman, a true professional and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you so much, we cannot recommend French Wedding Cakes enough!

Julien did an absolutely fantastic job of our Wedding cake! It was perfect and absolutely delicious! We were really impressed by the level of detail Julien puts into his cakes and their flawless finish! We would highly recommend Julien!

Julien was an absolute gem! When first met him, he gave us a tasting box of a variety of different cake flavours so we could pick which ones we liked. He offered flexibility on the flavours in that he could tweak the ingredients according to personal preference! He listened carefully to design requirements and produced a fabulous 3 tier cake with leaves scattered on it placed on a tree trunk cake stand for my autumnal wedding. The guests raved about it! I went for choc biscuit, lemon and carrot cake! All communication was easy and professional and I felt confident in his service. Thanks again Julien. I hope to be back to him for christening and birthday cakes in the future :-)

Julien was an absolute delight to deal with and very passionate about his work. He went out of his way to make sure our cake was exactly the way we wanted, sourcing flowers and a new cake stand at no extra cost. He also decorated the cake table beautifully on the day. The cake itself tasted amazing, and we also loved trying the different sponges and macarons in the tasting box we were given at the start of the process. We couldn't recommend more highly!

We used Julian for our wedding and we couldn't be happier. He was supper friendly, flexible cake was gorgeous! Delivered to our venue and the guests commented on how lovely it was. HIGHLY recommended!

Julien created a wonderful unique cake that went perfectly with our wedding theme, it tasted amazing and was beautiful, it was great value and Julien himself was extremely professional. I highly recommend his work, for the wow factor and great flavours.

Absolutely fabulous cake - we ordered quite a large 3 tier cake and hoped to have some left over but guests went back for seconds!! Highly recommend. Cake looked stunning too.

The sample box jullian supplies are fabulous, as a fellow chef his flavours are fantastic, his attention to detail is second to none, I highly recommend his baileys biscuit cake.

Thank you Julien for the wonderful cake you made for myself and my husband in November 2013.
First of all, it looked amazing! The stencilling details and the fresh flowers were just fantastic - it looked a real show stopper and really caught our guests' eye as they came into the reception room.

Then we got to eat it! I made sure I got a piece of all three layers and they were all delicious - exactly like I remembered from the samples you gave us. There wasn't much left of the main cake to take home with us the next day - our guests devoured it!
We are so glad that we got you to make us a separate extra small cake that we can keep for our 1st anniversary!
We would highly recommend Julien to everyone - the quality of his cakes and his professional approach made him a pleasure to deal with!

Julien made our cake for our winter wedding November 2007 and it was out of this world. He was so accomodating, kind and truly a genius. He had great ideas to help make it unique and when we saw it on our big day we were left speechless. Our guests commented on it so much and it tasted fantastic.
