I absolutely love weddings. I adore the buzz, the anticipation, the excitement, the emotion and the amazing celebration of family and friends coming together! I feel so privileged to be involved in what will be most fantastic days of your life and will work so hard to help create and capture your special day in the most natural way possible. I love to capture spontaneous and natural moments and of course all the laughter and joy throughout the day. Its those little moments that make the memories.
My style of photography is relaxed, natural and informal. Being relaxed myself definitely helps the bride and groom to feel comfortable too so the whole day feels calm and informal. As a result, the photos taken are natural ones with genuine laughs. I have three small children myself so really love to capture the delight of the little ones on the day too.
I am very sensitive to people and my surroundings. I am very unobtrusive and will blend in well with your guests too making sure to get lovely reportage style shots while everyone is enjoying themselves. I appreciate the subtleties of form, light and colour and find magic in ordinary, everyday things.

Sarah was our photographer in September. She was just amazing! Always working incredibly hard but making everything look so easy. She was so helpful & lovely to be around. I would highly recommend her, we were so lucky to have her. Thanks a million Sarah, you are such a talented photographer!

Sarah is an amazing photographer! We were thrilled with our photographs, we had to whittle down from 500 for our wedding album which was a challenge in itself!! On the day Sarah was so easygoing and made our day so relaxed and so much fun when taking the photographs, whilst being incredibly professional. We found her great value for money and would recommend her in a instance to anyone getting married who is looking for a photographer, lovely lady & a fabulous photographer!

We were lucky Sarah was available for our wedding photos! Organising from abroad Sarah quickly tuned in to our needs and was a great communicator. She was so warm and easy to work with on the day, capturing all the important moments unobtrusively and fitting in as one of the guests! She took the time to get to know names which immediately put everyone at ease. The images themselves are beautiful and natural capturing the essence and emotion of the day. We highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

We really enjoyed working with Sarah in the run up to the wedding and on the day. Sarah spent the time to get to know us and what we wanted and had some great suggestions for the pictures.
Sarah also took the time to get to know our families names and who we wanted in the shots, which I thought added a nice personal touch. We were really delighted with how everything turned out.

I just can't express how thrilled, excited and delighted I was to see our wedding photos online yesterday - I've already looked through them an embarrassing amount of times!! They are beautiful far beyond my expectations and I can't believe how perfectly you captured the very essence of our day. To have such a great selection of images to draw from for albums, framed pictures and presents for family is more than we could have hoped for. I also love the natural feel to the photographs which a great testament to your expertise.
It was an absolute pleasure to have you there on the day and if anything you added to my experience. Your background research was evident when you were easily able to recall all the names of parents and siblings with ease - this left a lasting impression on my Father-in-law. My mother-in-law remarked last night that she felt like she had know you forever - I think that says it all!

We were grateful for the way in which you managed everything so subtly in the wedding morning mayhem and then persuaded us to withstand the cold on the beach so that we ended up with amazing shots. We can?t believe how hard you had to work on the day, whilst still finding time to take candid shots of all our friends and remaining super calm.

My fiancee Sarah and I were at our wits end looking for a photographer who was modern, contemporary and had a touch of class. When we found Sarah Connolly we found it all!
On our first meeting with Sarah, she took time to get to know us, and showed us some of her recent albums. We knew we had made the right choice.

In our initial meeting we had requested certain photos that we wanted taken, you captured them better than we could ever have anticipated. Both families were very impressed with your ability to get all photos taken with such ease and little fuss.
Even though it was December & it was raining you still managed to get the most beautiful photos at
the Quad for us.
Our favourite photos are the most natural ones, from the ones you took of both of us smiling and laughing, guests enjoying themselves and our nieces and nephews, been both happy and tired, really captured the essence of our day.

Thanks again for doing such a great job in taking the photos of James. I don't know how you managed to capture so many great shots when he was moving around so much and irritable. You're patience and professionalism were very much appreciated and your relaxed style was perfect for sleep deprived parents and 10 month old . Your coming to our home made it so much easier and yet you managed to make the most of our limited backdrops!
Our family members who have experience of studio portraits were really impressed and thought it was such a good idea doing portraits in the home. We have recommended you already and will continue to do so.

When we booked Sarah for our wedding I thought to myself that it wouldn't be the easiest wedding she ever worked on - the bride's side in particular being very camerashy. However I needn't have worried as she whipped us into shape in no time without us even realising it! Sarah's confident approach and calm manner put everyone at ease very quickly.
The result is a collection of really lovely posed and unposed photos of family and friends which will be a fantastic momento for years to come.

After the day, guests commented on how nice a person she was and non-intrusive when taking pictures in the church & venue. From the outset, she?s genuinely interested in your plans and is a great resource for helpful information and planning tips. On the day, she radiates calm and positivity. She manages to keep everyone in order to get those group shots done, while being really lovely to be around. She?s not one of those annoying bossy photographers. She captures all the little details you forgot to tell her you wanted captured! this is because she takes the time to get to know you.
