1. Lottery/Scratch Card Holder

Part favour, part game, all fun times. Scratch cards, lottery tickets or even number cards for a special draw make a fun wedding favour for adults – and how great would it be if one of your guests wins a big lottery prize on your Big Day?! The shop at weddingsonline stocks these cute vintage style ‘Good Luck’ card holders – to make you favours look extra special – at €5.00 for a pack of 10.

2. Wonka Bar/Golden Ticket Fun Favours

We love the idea of giving guests a bit of after-dinner excitement, and these awesome Wonka bar favours are another brilliant way to do it. Each guest will find a bar at their setting, but only one will find the golden ticket inside. Your golden ticket prize could be anything from a bottle of Champagne to the prize of first up to the candy buffet! These can be personalised as ‘Wonky Bars’ from thewonkyfactory.com.

3. Bathroom Baskets

Bathroom baskets are a nice, inexpensive way to make your guests feel special no matter where they are in your venue! Get two baskets (one for the men’s room, one for the ladies), pop some wedding themed tissues, deodorant, hairspray, pins, hair clips, bandaids, tampons, Rennies, a lint roller, some mints etc… and leave a sign to tell guests to help themselves! After a long day they’ll be delighted with a freshening up, courtesy of the happy couple.

4. Special Children’s Table

If you’re having a couple of littler guests at your wedding celebration, make them feel welcome with some gorgeous goodie bags to keep them entertained. A mini pack for each child is great – in which you could include a little toy, a pack of jellies, a notebook and some crayons – or you could create a unique ‘Kids Only’ table with a colouring table cloth (try these from eggnog.net). You could pop an Xs and Os board onto the table with some chalk sticks and the adults could even get involved. To keep the little ones busy for longer, we love the idea of giving each child a disposable camera (or get them to double up if you need) and assigning them a mission to capture a photo of specific things. Gifts for the Girls

5. Bridesmaid Robes

Getting ready with the girls is one of the most exciting times of the day, and when you’re all together getting pampered, some pretty matching robes can make you all feel extra special. At the moment the trend is for gorgeous floral kimonos, which are not only perfect for popping off without ruining your ‘do, but look amazing when photographed. Find some gorgeous satin wraps at Debenhams. Alternatively you can buy cosy, personalised winter wedding dressing gowns for your girls from the weddingsonline shop, and even a fluffy flower girl bathrobe for the littlest maid.

6. Special Gift for the Flower Girl(s)

Flower girls feel super special donning a beautiful dress for the day, but by giving a little gift in the morning (with perhaps a hint of ‘this is for you because we know you’re going to be so good for your mom and dad today’) they’re going to feel even more thought of. Present their basket of petals to them with a little keepsake like this cute ‘thank you’ teddy bear from the weddingsonline shop and they’ll remember their Big Day forever!

7. Giant Balloons for Photo Fun

Whenever we see a fun photo like the one above by Michelle Prunty, we can’t help but smile. Oversized balloons have become a big thing in weddings this year and why not? They’re relatively cheap and make for some cool and creative photos. After your session you can add them to your décor – no doubt the kids will love them! Find pretty pink and white oversized balloons in the weddingsonline shop.

8. Sparklers for a Magical Entrance

Sparklers are another fantastic prop for wedding photos and the best thing is everybody can be involved! Give them as favours to guests or have them at the door in baskets. Once lit they make for a magical exit for the bride and groom, and even if you don’t plan on leaving til the wee hours, you can ask your guests to light them outside as they enjoy some drinks and have your photographer capture the sparks flying!
