12 Awesome Wedding Guest Dresses for Autumn

Autumn is a tricky season for wedding fashion in Ireland – one day the sun’s a-blazing and you’re slipping on your finest flip flops, the next you’re battling with apocalyptic winds while wondering why you ever thought a €5 rain jacket would be anything more than a piece of (albeit stylish) damp plastic. It’s true that you can’t plan for the weather here, so today we’ve chosen some gorgeous gúnas that’ll look amazing in rain or shine!

Autumn wedding fashion is all about moving towards richer hues and deliciously lush material. Heavier fabrics like laser-cut lace, jacquard and stiffened brocade are the perfect option for shorter dresses, while chiffon in a deep hue can still work for maxi styles. Colourful floral embroidery is always a great addition to an outfit, as is some eye-catching metallics and maybe even throw in some sequins as the weeks creep further towards the festive season (too soon?!)
