The 2017 bridal collections have well and truly landed and we’re all over the incoming trends for next’s year’s most fashionable brides. Number one on our list is now – and we think always will be – uber cool and effortlessly elegant long sleeves wedding gowns. We’ve been a huge fan of the long sleeved look for years now; there’s just something so stylish and sophisticated about an elongated arm adorned with beautiful fabrics or details. Embellished, lace, illusion or off-the-shoulder, as long as it hits the wrist it’s on our radar.
One of our most swoon-worthy long sleeve looks is the full-length sleeve and high neck combo, seen at designers J Mendel and Naeem Khan. This conservative look is super on trend for 2017 as brides head towards an understated, chic and high fashion style. One look that’s become huge over the last few years and continues to wow is the long sleeve/plunging neckline combo seen at designers such as Pronovias, Galia Lahav and Marchesa. Boho-leaning designers have always had a penchant for the long sleeve look, and Rue de Seine, Mira Zwillinger, Lihi Hod and most notably Jenny Packham have used the long sleeve to really affirm the statement gowns from their newest collections.
