Whether it’s couples planning their dream day at home or those traveling from abroad, the level of activity across our platform shows just how much is happening in the industry right now. Here is a straightforward look at the data we collected over the last 12 months.
Enquiries and Timing During 2025, we saw a total of 65,873 enquiries sent to wedding venues and suppliers. While planning happens year-round, January was the standout month with 9,268 enquiries as couples kicked off their new year by making big decisions.
When it comes to wedding dates, most couples are looking well into the future:
- 2025 weddings: 21% of enquiries were for the current year.
- 2026 weddings: Half of all enquiries (50%) were focused on next year.
- 2027 weddings: Nearly a quarter (24%) are already planning two years out.
- 2028 and beyond: A small but organized 5% are looking even further ahead.
A Look at Traffic and Engagement – Couples are using our directory more than ever to find their perfect team. In 2025, the weddingsonline directory reached 5,739,633 total views. This is a 22.6% increase compared to 2024, showing that digital search is still the main way couples find what they need.
A few other interesting numbers from the year:
Reviews: Our community is very active, with 6,618 new reviews added in 2025, bringing the total on the site to 87,842.
Events: We helped promote 694 different wedding events throughout the year.
Trust: We continue to hold an “excellent” rating on Trustpilot, based on 66 reviews from our users.
Where are the couples coming from? While the majority of users (62.7%) are based right here in Ireland, we still see a huge amount of interest from overseas. This highlights just how popular Ireland remains for couples living abroad:

- USA: 11.37%
- Australia: 2.28%
- Canada: 1.75%
