If you want to have the best wedding photos, then make sure you don’t do these three things on your Big Day! Trust me, you’ll be looking at your wedding photos for years to come. You’ll frame them and display them in your home, you’ll share them on social media more times than you can count, and you’ll say yes to any opportunity to show off your wedding album. So why wouldn’t you do anything possible to have the most incredible wedding photos? Well, according to the pros, there are 3 things not to do on your wedding day.

These three things affect the quality of the photos as well as how you look in them! Of course, you want to look your absolute best and most confident, so keep on reading…

Don’t get a spray-on tan on your wedding day

Even a seasoned expert tanner should avoid getting a spray-on tan on the Big Day or even the day before! You just never know if the tan will streak or bleed everywhere. The last thing you want to be thinking about on your wedding day is fixing spray-tan mistakes. You, your photographer and your beautiful white dress will all be so thankful if you book your tan appointment the week before your wedding day.

Don’t go too crazy with the prosecco

Wait until your drinks hour before you start drinking cocktails! And on the morning of your wedding, when you’re getting ready with the girls, don’t go too crazy with the bubbly. Being uncontrollably drunk isn’t a good look and it’ll result in messy photos. This goes for everyone in the wedding party, not just the couple. It’s also worth noting that often having drunk wedding party members can cause the photos to be delayed, resulting in less time with the photographer. Not ideal!

Don’t stress!

Sure, it’s easier said than done, but don’t stress. You’d be surprised to hear that it shows up in photos! So relax and let your wedding supplier team take charge. If you feel relaxed and happy, you’ll look the part!
