7 Top Trends for Wedding Hair from Bridal Fashion Week 2015

In stark contrast to the complicated updos favoured by brides in 2014, wedding hair for 2015 is all about chic simplicity. Bridal Fashion Week 2015 proved that less was more when it come to bridal beauty, with most designers opting for a pared down look to show off their striking gowns (or accessories). Low updos and soft chignons were seen at Carolina Herrera and Naeem Khan, while models at Monique Lhuillier sported slicked back buns. Taking a nod from one of the most talked about wedding of the year – that of fashionista Olivia Palermo – both Jenny Packham and Oscar de la Renta sent their 2015 collections down the catwalk with a simple preened ponytail. Where hair was long, it was left straight and off the face at Angel Sanchez and Marchesa, decorated with floral headpieces and fresh daisies respectively.

The best thing about these no fuss natural hair trends for 2015 is that brides can look like themselves on their Big Day. Most women won’t have worn a glamorous updo since their Debs and for some the idea of even wearing their hair up on the day makes them nervous. Anything goes when it comes to bridal beauty for 2015, as long as you wear it with a smile.
