Jacqueline and Alexander live in Australia and held a dream of eloping in Portofino, Italy. This travel loving couple have visited many destinations across the world but Portofino holds a special place in their heart. The couple chose Beatrice Italy Weddings to help bring their Italian dream to life.

With their hearts set on Castello Brown the elopement was based around this magical venue. From sourcing the best restaurant for their wedding dinner to arranging transportation to the castle, every detail was carefully curated. A classic Italian Ape Car transported them separately to the foot of the castle path, an authentic and whimsical touch that made their day even more memorable.
Their ceremony took place under a romantic pergola overlooking the sparkling Portofino harbour. Florist Mariana Flowers created stunning freestanding floral columns in their colour palette, perfectly framing the couple. They chose a soft, romantic palette of candid white, blush, dusty pinks, and gentle greens, complemented beautifully by the natural blues of the Portofino sea. The palette reflected not only the beauty of the Italian Riviera, but also their heartfelt, intimate connection and their desire for something truly their own.
To include loved ones back home, a live stream of the ceremony was streamed, a heartfelt way to share their joy across continents.
Alexander wore two wedding rings, one of which belonged to his grandfather, a beautiful tribute full of legacy and meaning. The second featured a red ruby stone, a subtle but powerful nod to his Polish heritage.
For dinner, DaV Mare by Belmond delivered a one-of-a-kind culinary experience. A private table overlooking the sea was adorned with soft pink, custom name tags inscribed with “That’s Amore”, a phrase that carried special meaning for them. A sweet surprise cake with the same phrase marked the perfect ending to their perfect day.
