Aaron and Jade’s modern love story began when they met on Tinder. Fast forward to a beautiful weekend away which Aaron planned!
Jade tells the proposal story from her perspective: “Aaron planned a weekend away in Belfast, unknown to me for a surprise as we have been both stressed out with work. As soon as we got to the room and we settled in he started saying how proud of me and that he loves me so much. He then got down on one knee and proposed to me and I was in tears. I couldn’t believe what was happening, of course I said yes.”
They got married in early summer on a beautiful sunny day and describe the environment as happy! The theme they chose was blush pink and ivory, which perfectly matched the gorgeous day.
Jade chose a beautiful ivory dress and paired it with cute and comfy Converse shoes.
Aaron wore a stylish navy blue suit with brown shoes.
The bridesmaids wore blush pink dresses with white Converse shoes, while the groomsmen wore navy blue suits and brown shoes.
“Our ceremony was short and sweet. We had a mix of songs that was so us; Walking down the aisle to ‘Still into you’, signing the register to ‘Hold me now don’t cry’, walking out to ‘Sky full of stars’, and the unity ceremony was ‘Always’ by Bon Jovi.”
They hosted their wedding ceremony and reception celebration party at the beautiful Castleknock Hotel in Dublin!
Jade says that the reason they chose Castleknock Hotel was both the location and style of the venue.

Jade and Aaron describe his style as ‘laid back and candid’ and they said he was absolutely lovely to deal with!
To entertain their guests, Jade and Aaron had a DJ all day as well as the help of Carolyn’s Sweets providing an audio guest book, selfie mirror, candy cart and chocolate fountain!
Jade shares her favourite memory from the day:
“Our first dance, and walking back down the aisle as man and wife.”
