Say hello to Erin and Scott, an American couple who hosted a destination wedding in Dubrovnik, Croatia! We love how Kristina from Dubrovnik Luxury Weddings brought their plans to life, creating a magical day that they (and their guests) will remember for years to come! The unique table layout and gorgeous greenery are incredible.

While Erin and Scott didn’t have a specific wedding theme, they were strategic in their flower colours, only green and white. They didn’t have any special requirements for how they wanted things to look, so Kristina and the wedding planning team played around with something modern and a bit different than the standard decorations.
Kristina says, “We pretty much had open hands to make something beautiful using white and green only, so that is what we did. We always wanted to do round curved tables for dinner reception and as we had open hands, which we rarely do, since couples usually have a clear vision of the day, we decided to propose that and they fell in love with this look. Their plan was to just make sure everything looks beautiful, a bit different and make sure everyone has the best time.”
“They decided to have specialty cocktails HIS and HERs, Transfusion and Margarita, which were served all day, along other drinks. We had a sax player play during the drinks reception in the atrium of Modern Art Gallery, as they love sax music, especially the groom, so this was organised as a surprise to him. He played mostly modern music and covers of pop classics. At this stage, before moving for dinner we had a champagne tower poured by the couple. They also made the place cards and menus in the US and brought them to Dubrovnik.”
According to Kristina, the day was nice and sunny, a standard Summer day in Croatia, so everything went as planned.
The guests loved the string quartet in Sponza Palace after the ceremony, the sax player and the champagne tower!

Kristina was completely accommodating to all of the ideas and wishes we had and she made sure the entire weekend was perfect and easy! I did not have a worry in the world because she and everyone else handled all the planning/setup so flawlessly! We had the most beautiful perfect wedding weekend thanks to Kristina and Dubrovnik Luxury Weddings!”
Kristina shares about something special they did for the wedding: “The day before the wedding we had an evening cruise with dinner, drinks and music organised for everyone.”
