How did you meet and get engaged?
We met through mutual friends years before we got together. When the time was right we ended up meeting at a night out with friends and we got together and never looked back. We had a little girl together (as well as me having a son from a previous relationship). And on the weekend of my 40th birthday, Thomas proposed in our favourite greek restaurant, Halloumi in Glasgow and of course I said yes!

Describe your wedding:
Once we chose our venue there was only ever one option for the theme; rustic, floral and sage green colours as it set the venue off perfectly!

Tell us about your bridal look:
My dress was Justin Alexander in an ivory/sand colour and was lace with small lace flowers and pearls embroidered on. Again I just knew this would be perfect for a garden wedding. My hair was twisted and loose like boho style and makeup was completely natural just as I wanted, I didn’t want to look overly done up.

What did your bridesmaids wear?
Bridesmaids were in sage green multiway dresses, which were stunning and suited all the girls as we had all diff ages and they could do them in different styles from each other too. Flower girls had ivory dresses from Monsoon with roses embroidered on the bottom.

What was your ceremony like?
The ceremony was in the garden under the large tree and was simply beautiful.  All the guests were sitting in the sunshine on benches and chairs and it was just perfect.

Tell us about your wedding venue:
The wedding venue was absolutely stunning it was rustic and private. Beautiful venue surrounded by gorgeous scenery. It was exactly what we had hoped for and having not been out to visit it beforehand was even more beautiful in reality.

What is your favourite memory from your wedding day?
All of it, but probably walking down the aisle to see Thomas sticks in my mind most and then just looking around to see all our nearest and dearest smiling back at us.

Have you got any advice for other couples?
Just try and not stress, enjoy every part of the process as it is over in a blink of an eye.
