This lovely couple, Suzanne and Seamus, met on a night out in Galway. Suzanne shares more about their engagement:
“Seamus proposed to me on my 30th birthday in Carrick on Shannon on the 6th of January.”
They opted for olive green for the bridesmaids dresses which perfectly complemented the orange and apricot colours of the flowers. Suzanne was happy with the weather on the day, sharing that it was almost perfect, despite a few showery spells.
Their florist, Judi Roche of Balla Florists, describes the beautiful flowers: “For Suzanne and Seamus’ special day, we wanted to create floral designs that truly reflected the warmth, vibrancy, and elegance of their love story. Suzanne wore a fitted bridal gown with a long train. Most of the detail in the dress was at the back, which made the flowers stand out even more.
Seamus wore a velvet black tuxedo jacket and a classic black tuxedo.
The bridesmaids wore flowing olive green dresses sourced from The One I Love in Ballinlough. With the groomsmen wearing black tuxedos sourced from Eddie Murphy’s menswear. Bridesmaids jewellery from Fallers Galway.
“Our ceremony was held in Knock Parish Church. We used Stephanie Healy, Ger Madden and Jak Sherrard to play at our ceremony. We choose our exit song as ‘Fly me to the moon’ by Frank Sinatra.”

“The ceremony at Knock Church Co Mayo was adorned with florals that exuded both romance and natural beauty. A striking altarpiece served as the centerpiece of the church, designed with a lush blend of blooms that harmonised with the season and the couple’s aesthetic. The bouquets and buttonholes carried through the same warm tones, creating a cohesive and captivating florals from start to finish.
They celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Kilronan Castle.
Suzanne says, “I always envisioned my wedding there. The atmosphere they created was perfect and there was such attention to detail given. No request was too much. It was the perfect location for a Mayo/Roscommon wedding.”
The festivities were beautifully captured by Edward Reid.
“We loved his ability to capture the moment without being too in our face, making all our photos very natural.”
Suzanne shares her favourite memory from the Big Day:
“I loved how relaxed the morning was, getting ready in the house with the girls – it was lovely!”
