How did you meet and get engaged?
We met through a mutual friend and Frazer proposed in Vegas!

Describe your wedding:
My colour palette was quite simple. It was made up of white and ivory tones, with different shades of green and sporadic hints of light and dark blush textures, which matched perfectly with the rustic, romantic style and elegant feel I wanted. The venue was such a statement in itself, I didn’t want anything too overpowering.

Tell us about your bridal look:
Before trying the dress on, I was initially drawn to the delicate lace detail on the train and the layered lace off the shoulder style with Illusion. Accompanied with the fitted A-line silhouette, this gave it an endearing sense of timeless elegance. I felt it was very understated and that it was perfect for Italy and our venue.

Tell us about your wedding venue:
We have always loved the Italian language, Italian style food and wine, not forgetting the incredible architecture and culture of the country. After visiting the capital of Italy, we fell in love with the people, their laid back lifestyle and family orientated community. We decided there and then, this was everything we were looking for in a wedding.

La Badia is elegant, rustic and historic.

What is your favourite memory from your wedding day?
My favourite moment was just after the wedding ceremony. All of our guests left the chapel and for a moment, Frazer and I were left watching all of our guests collect their confetti cones and gather round the chapel doors. It was one of the only moments we had alone together all day and was perfect just after the ceremony.

Have you got any advice for other couples?
One of the best pieces of advice I was given prior to my own wedding was, at times you may find yourself being caught up in every little detail as you want it to be perfect, take a step back and breathe, remind yourself what it is all really about- the two of you getting married.
