Other ways to celebrate…

Tuck into your wedding cake: Many couples like to freeze the top tier of their wedding cake and eat it on their first wedding anniversary. We do suggest you check with your cake supplier if your cake would be safe to eat after a year! You could also place an order with your cake supplier for a mini cake in your favourite flavour from your wedding day.

Watch your wedding video: Over the years your wedding video will become more and more precious and you’ll maybe even laugh at the outfits in years to come.

Take a photo together on each anniversary: It’ll take a while to build up your album but it’s a lovely way to watch how you change, age and if your family expands.

Try on your outfits: We love when couples try on their special outfits, it could certainly make for some laughs.

Enjoy each other’s company: Even if you only deliver take-out and have a night in front of the fire, make sure to acknowledge each anniversary and ground yourselves together to remember where it all began.
