As she walks up the aisle, your bride wants to see her groom standing waiting for her, looking truly unique while still being complimentary to your groomsmen. There are so many ways to achieve this. Starting with the suit you can choose a slightly different cut, fabric and finish for your own, but keep it in the same colour band. If hiring suits for the rest of the party why not treat yourself something truly unique and divine and buy yourself something truly special for your wedding day?!
Simple changes to accessories will also differentiate you from your groomsmen. Grooms should always accessorise to compliment the bride’s colours, while the groomsmen’s accessories should complement the bridesmaids’ colours. When choosing neckwear for the day, consider wearing different type of neckwear to the rest of the party.
Final finishing touches like cufflinks, shirts, pocket squares, flowers, shoes and socks can all contain little surprises to be discovered by your bride that are truly unique to you, this is where you can really have some fun and express your personality. Some of these accessories make great fun photos to look back on also!

Hi Kyle, thank you for your question. You shouldn’t have a problem differentiating yourself from the groomsmen. We always say that small subtle changes are best and such changes are always picked up by a good photographer. If you are looking for a uniformed look a simple change in your button hole flower can sometimes be just enough of a difference for a groom to stand out!
