“Don’t get yourself into debt for the sake of one day that’s gone in the blink of an eye. You can still have your perfect day on a budget so shop around. Take time out during the day (10 minutes to yourselves) just to just soak it all in. And hire someone to do your ceremony music to avoid any hiccups on the day (that’s our only regret).” – Check out their wedding story

Kayliegh and Sean

“It’s so easy to get caught up in the worry of numbers and restrictions but try not to. We had a day with 50 of our nearest and dearest friends and family. The day will be what you make of it. We originally planned for 170 people and had to cut numbers but people understand. It’s your day that you will remember for the rest of your lives. Don’t listen to what other people say, just go with what you want because in 50 years’ time they will not remember your day but you will.” – Check out their wedding story

“Get married early! Our ceremony wasn’t until 2 and it just felt later. Photos were a bit rushed and we missed most of our reception.” – Check out their wedding story

“My one piece of advice is to try and enjoy yourself on the day and forget about everyone else. If something goes wrong, no one will know it went wrong. On the day, you are so in love and in your own little bubble with each other, it really doesn’t matter. Remember this might be the only time in your life when that amount of people are coming together to see you and that is a very special moment.” – Check out their wedding story

“Take time to absorb every second especially walking up the aisle. And practice sitting in the dress! I forgot and took a few minutes to figure it out – lol!” – Check out their wedding story

Sarah and Jamie

“Suit yourselves, make sure the day is exactly how you want it and enjoy every second! Our wedding was anything but “typical”. An outdoor non-religious ceremony, with half the guests we had planned on having. A BBQ dinner and no band, but it was the best day of our lives. Full of love and laughter.” – Check out their wedding story

“Don’t overthink the small things you think about, nobody else realises. If your day is affected by restrictions it will still be perfect, you are marrying your best friend. Take time for yourselves and take it all in. I believe intimate weddings are the way forward, we have no regrets.” – Check out their wedding story

Claire and Cedi

“Try to relax and enjoy your day, it really does go so fast. A tip we got was to make sure you get a few minutes together to take it all in. Due to numbers, we decided last minute to only have ourselves on the top table this I would highly recommend. Make a list of photographs you want prior to the day and give the list to your photographer. See if someone is willing to deal with suppliers, venue and handle the payment. We had individual envelopes for each supplier ready to go, just forgot to ask someone to hold them. Assign people to a table, not a seat. Get as much preparation done in advance. The last couple of weeks get very busy and you want to enjoy the build-up stress-free.” – Check out their wedding story

“Don’t stress too much about the small details. It all works out and at the end of the day, those tiny things don’t matter hugely. The main thing is to have fun with your friends and family!” – Check out their wedding story

“Just enjoy the day. Don’t stress. And smaller is better. Even with the small number at our wedding, I don’t think I got to speak with everyone. Just relax, enjoy it and take in all that you can.” – Check out their wedding story
