Their trip down memory lane will look at the changing fashions, traditions and wedding food – from meringue dresses to lemon meringue for dessert, the walls of the Silver Springs Moran Hotel have been witness to all the changing trends over the last five decades! Special guest and host for the evening is Annmarie O’Connor, a well-known and respected fashion writer, stylist and presenter whose work has seen her interviewing many famous fashion figures including Victoria Beckham, Manolo Blahnik and Tyson Beckford to name just a few.
The Silver Springs Moran Hotel wedding showcase, which takes place on the evening of Friday 4th October, is sure to delight with an evening packed with five decades of memories. There will be an exclusive fashion show by ‘Dirty Fabulous’ featuring vintage bridal gowns and guest-wear spanning the last five decades. There will also be an exhibition of wedding memorabilia including all the best photos that were sent into the hotel from couples who have been married there over the past 50 years. Guests will also enjoy music and light refreshments which will feature a delicious tasting of some of the very best wedding food trends from the last 50 years, as well as an amazing centrepiece of a five tier cake, with each tier representing a different decade.
