British blogger and bridal designer Charlotte Balbier celebrated 10 years in the wedding industry this year with a collection that encapsulates everything the Balbier brand is about – romantic, elegant high-quality wedding dresses destined for the quintessential ‘English Rose’ bride.
Balbier is certainly not one to pigeon-hole herself as a designer of any one certain silhouette and the Decade of Style capsule collection includes gorgeous gowns of all shapes and styles. Present sensual silk sheaths, feminine lace ballgowns and retro style tea-lengths, all embodying that luxurious, dreamy, fairy-tale like feel the Balbier name is known for.
The Decade of Style collection wasn’t the only thing Balbier was pouring her passion, excitement and experience into last year however, the consummate multitasker was also busy planning her early 2014 wedding to fiancé Teddy in the historical setting of Iscoyd Park in England’s West Midlands. As a bride-to-be herself in the throes of wedding planning she created her 2015 Iscoyd Park collection, inspired by the warm, country house setting of her own big day, the romance of her own relationship, and of course the future she herself was about to embark on. With that in mind, the collection features an array of ‘English Garden’ type gowns that are fashion-forward yet classic and traditional in their overall style – scroll down for more on the Iscoyd Park Collection…

THE 2015 ISCOYD PARK COLLECTION
Heavy on romantic lace and floral details, the luxurious 2015 Iscoyd Park Collection – which debuted on the catwalk of The White Gallery, London in April – is inspired by designer Charlotte’s own 2014 wedding which took place on the grounds of the family run country house Iscoyd Park in Shropshire, West Midlands. The collection embodies all the Balbier name is known for – romantic silhouettes, luxurious lace, delicate details and light, airy and elegant skirts and sleeves.
Of course Balbier designed her own dress for the day, two of them actually (sure why wouldn’t she!) which actually feature in the 2015 collection – namely ‘The Charlotte’ and ‘Iscoyd Park’. Both gowns are true to the designer’s classic style, free-spirit and her contemporary outlook on wedding fashion and we think are destined to become best sellers for the brand for years to come.
Charlotte Balbier is stocked in Belladonna Bridal in Galway. Please contact Belladonna Bridal directly to enquire about a specific gown.
