In just one week it’ll be Christmas Eve! Crazy, right? Well, in the spirit of Christmas and last-minute gift shopping, I’ve put together a little Gift Guide with some lovely Christmas gift ideas. These gifts are all super cute and perfect for newlyweds or engaged couples. What better gift than one that celebrates love and being together forever?
Before we start… here are a few bits of advice about gift giving:
1. Create a budget and discuss it. This will prevent that awkward situation where you give your loved one a pair of cute socks (arguably a lovely gift!) and receive a trip overseas. A budget will help you to define your parameters.
2. Discuss your expectations. I love to give a few small gifts to my partner. He knows this, so he doesn’t expect one big gift and now he doesn’t give one big gift either. This way we both get to open a few things. Everyone has their preferences, so discuss yours.
3. When in doubt, pick something meaningful. If you’re really not sure what to get your partner, a gift with meaning or an inside joke is always a good way to go!
