Cromleach Lodge is set in the quiet hills above Lough Arrow with breathtaking views over the lake to the Bricklieve Mountains and beyond. Their Diarmaid & Gráinne Suite is on the first floor so the views are truly stunning.
Their wedding co-ordinator Deirdre, now in her fifth year in Cromleach, continues to make every couple feel as if their’s is the only wedding ever to take place there – “each couple’s personality is different, each couple’s vision & dream wedding is different, so it’s my job to ensure that we create the perfect day for them. It’s also very important that each couple are put at ease and that they are 100% confident that everything we discuss and agree will come together on the day. We build up a relationship with each couple and usually by the time their big day arrives they will already have met the hotel proprietors Moira and Christy Tighe, Nicholas the GM, and most of the staff.”
The hallmark of Cromleach Lodge is their food, their service & their attention to detail and this carries through in their approach to weddings, Moira looks after the flowers and table decorations, Christy will decorate the pergola for the photos and has even been known to take couples away to his secret photo locations, Nicholas provides impeccable service as if he were conducting an orchestra, while Head Chef Lanka and his team provide the very best wedding food you’ll find anywhere. They even close their restaurant until the wedding meal is served so that everyone can devote their full attention to the wedding.
The Diarmaid & Gráinne Suite comfortably seats 160 guests on circular tables of ten and up to 200 guests banqueting style. It’s completely self contained with bar, toilets, etc and has a break out room which can be used by children or adults and a large balcony which is very popular on fine evenings.
With destination weddings again becoming popular Cromleach’s two and three day packages look really attractive:
Day 1: Arrival at Cromleach and enjoy an afternoon of relaxation in their spa or outdoor activities such as walking, golfing, fishing, etc. followed by an informal buffet supper in Nuadas Bar.
Day 2: Your Wedding Day – Cromleach Lodge will provide an on-site hairdresser and beautician for you and your guests, a picnic basket to your photo location, followed by your wedding breakfast and party till late.
Day 3: Enjoy a gourmet brunch followed by activities in the area which can be organised for you by a member of the team at Cromleach Lodge. Evening Barbecue in their new all weather BBQ followed by music & craic with the Looneyhoppers.
