We met… in Boston.
Our proposal… on a snowy night in December, Garrett proposed at the Taj Hotel in a room full of red roses, after dinner at our favourite restaurant. He had already arranged for my family to meet us for brunch there the following morning to celebrate.
Our wedding theme/colours… Our colours were navy, light pink, ivory and grey.
His suit… Garrett’s suit was by Charles Thyrwitt.
My look on the day… My dress was from Allure Bridals. My make-up was by Dawn Ryan (Glamour by Dawn) and my hair was done by Stephanie Brennan.
Our ceremony… Took place in Mount Juliet House.
We chose our venue because… we loved Mount Juliet Estate for its age and its natural beauty.
We chose our photographer because… we liked Tanya and her previous work and knew Eden Photography would do a nice job.
My favourite part of the wedding day… having all of our loved ones together in one place. We live in the US and Garrett is from Dublin, so it was really special to have everyone we love in one room.
My piece of advice for other brides… Enjoy every minute of the day and the people who are there to share it with you, it really flies by.
