How did you meet and get engaged?
We met as teenagers in our local night club! He proposed in our sitting room!

Autumn is my favourite time of year so it was easy to choose the date and colour scheme to match. I chose navy dresses and suits to make the autumnal flowers and ties stand out.
Tell us about your bridal look:
I’m not a frilly fussy person when it comes to how I dress etc so I always imagined having a satin type dress. I found the perfect one for me in Ruben Bridal. My hair wasnt too fancy either just curled with a bit pulled back and I loved it! I do love make up though and I loved the glam bride look.
What did your bridesmaids wear?
They wore navy dresses from boohoo with a silver detail on the top. I saw these and wasn’t sure of the quality but I chanced it and they were brilliant quality!
What was your ceremony like?
We had our ceremony in our local church. It was gorgeous and flew by!
Tell us about your wedding venue:
The Woodford Dolmen Hotel was amazing! The hotel is gorgeous, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food was delicious!
What is your favourite memory from your wedding day?
Getting to the top of the aisle to Darren. I was so nervous but as soon as I got up there I instantly relaxed! Cheesy I know!
Have you got any advice for other couples?
Organise your day the way you want it. Don’t feel pressured to keep everyone happy. We were very lucky our families were very supportive of all the decisions we made but I was constantly worrying about everyone else. If you have small children get a childminder for the day/night for the hotel. We did and it was such a load off our minds.
