When UK designer Elizabeth Stuart set out to find her own wedding dress in 2009, her mission was to bag something ‘fashion forward, completely unique, luxurious and sophisticated all rolled into one’. As luck will have for today’s brides-to-be anyway, Stuart found the experience a completely stressful one and after her Big Day set about putting together her own bridal collection where ‘future meets fairytale, and falls in love.’
With a focus on elegant necklines, soft yet structured bodices and luxurious skirts that not only flatter but that feel like a dream to wear, Elizabeth has created a collection of graceful, playful and sophisticated wedding gowns and separates that celebrate the female form. We were huge fans of the Elizabeth Stuart Fall 14/15 collection, but Spring 2015 has us even more excited about seeing brides in her gowns in the near future!
The standout for us has to be Rosemary – a traditional ballgown with a twist. Rosemary features stunning button embellished full length sleeves, an impossibly elegant boat neckline and the dreamiest, whimsical full tulle skirt. Wedding dress perfection, don’t you agree?!
