2023 couples, this is your year! Wondering about wedding trends for 2023? We’ve got you covered. Today we are sharing our favourite wedding trends for 2023 and we know you’ll love them. From bold and bright colours to sustainability and outrageous couples’ attire, there’s lots to love.

Embroidered accessories

There are a myriad of ways to embrace the embroidered accessories trend! Whether you are showing off your new last name, you and your Other Half’s initials, your wedding date or a cute saying, this is a fabulous way to add a personal touch to your wedding accessories. Embroider your veil, gloves, denim jacket or any other accessories you’ve got planned!

Streamers and drapes

Decorate your aisle, ceiling and reception space with colourful streamers and drapes! What do you think of when you see a streamer installation? It’s party time! Whether you’re after the retro disco vibe (hello metallic tones) or something to complement your wedding colour scheme, there’s lots you can do to add a touch of drama to your decor.

Pop & Drop

Unique guest books

There’s totally nothing wrong with the traditional guest book, but couples are loving turning this moment into something unique and personal. Why not get your guests to sign something you could use as a decor piece in your home? A guitar, record or puzzle! Or how about getting audio recordings or video clips of their messages to you instead?

Eye-catching couple’s outfits

Trendy couples are all for doing something a little outrageous! We are loving velvet blazers, coloured suits and patterned shirts, as well as metallic wedding dresses, bridal suits, separates and bespoke designs! Your wedding day attire is the perfect way to inject a little personality into the day.

Epic Love Story

Flowers flowers flowers

We’ve always adored flowers, but couples are taking things to the next level by placing flowers into the centre of their decor plans. Flowers have the ability to transform any space so more couples are finding ways to shift their budget around and prioritise their floral arrangements! We’re seeing lots more floral ceremony backdrops, flower walls, flower curtains, photobooth backdrops, and statement centrepieces.

Late night snacks

If there’s one thing the Irish can do better than anybody else, it’s having a good party. And what’s the best way to keep everybody on the dance floor all night? Keeping them fed! Late night snacks help guests who are feeling a little peckish have something to nibble on so they can get back on the dance floor to carry on partying.

Bold colours

If you’re a fan of colour, you’re in for a treat! 2023 will see more bright, loud and bold wedding colour palettes. This is brilliant news for fans of the 2023 Pantone Colour of the Year: Viva Magenta!

Mismatched bridesmaids dresses

We have loved seeing more mismatched bridesmaids dresses over the last couple of years and this year, wedding parties are becoming even more relaxed about their dress code. Mismatched prints and colours, florals, polka dots and interesting fabrics. The best way to maintain a sense of cohesion is to keep everybody wearing dresses within the same colour family.

Donating to charity

In lieu of giving wedding favours to each guest, couples are choosing to donate to charity instead! Donating to charity isn’t a trend, but there has been an increase in couples giving money to charity instead of splashing out on wedding favours. It’s a wonderful way to shine a light on a cause that’s close to your heart.

Mixed gender wedding parties

If your bestie is a member of the opposite sex, there’s no reason they can’t be in your wedding party! Mixed gender wedding parties are a fabulous way to ditch tradition and include all your besties in your Big Day.
