While we’ve been all about contemporary and industrial style wedding decor lately, today we’re all about the glamour and are playing about with two gorgeous striking shades. While a muted palette is appealing for a multitude of reasons (mainly because it’s easy to keep to!) a strong, deep colour is often the best way to tie a theme together. For autumn/winter weddings our shade of choice is a deep blue or navy, which looks incredible with glamorous, shimmering golds for a more formal-feel affair. There’s a real crispness to this palette and it allows for equal measures of both shades to make up the overall decor. Our favourite aspect of a navy gold palette however is the dress side – what bridesmaids aren’t going to love wearing gold or navy?! And what man wouldn’t look incredible in a sleek navy three piece?! It pretty much takes care of itself!
