How To Personalise Your Wedding Ceremony

Shauna and Tomas

They loved how personal and intimate their wedding ceremony was!

“It was so focused around myself and Tomas becoming husband and wife. Our registrar put us at ease every step of the way throughout the ceremony. We had Hazel Alexander, an amazing violinist playing during the ceremony and – oh my god – she is just the most wonderful person, the music was lovely.”

“Our ceremony was incredibly special to us. Held in the church on the grounds of where I went to secondary school, the former prior of the College said our mass and our friends from Newbridge Musical Theatre and another choir we both belong to sang at our ceremony which was so important to us. The flowers in the venue were provided by a local lady, Frances Doyle, and she outdid herself creating gorgeous, fresh, springtime bouquets and button holes for us.”

“We had a traditional church ceremony in St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town. Fr. Donal Roche was the celebrant. We had beautiful music by John Bonner (organist) and Karla Tracey (soprano).”

Sarah Jane and Paul

“We had a civil ceremony in Roganstown Hotel. Our ceremony was short and simple. We wanted a relaxed ceremony with an informal approach. We had a good laugh at our ceremony and had a few short readings and blessings from family and friends who meant a lot to us. We had a wedding singer who sang beautifully, it was a really lovely ceremony!”

“Our ceremony was very personal to us. Tara Carroll did an amazing job and everyone said so afterwards. We’re both only children and had our mothers with us to light the candles.”

Amanda and Ross

“We got married in St. Mary’s Church of Ireland in Navan Co. Meath. It was 45 minutes long. Amanda walked down the aisle to Fields of Gold in reference to my life as a Farmer. Amanda’s cousin played Sarah Buckley played ‘All of Me’ by John Legend on the Organ. The ceremony was really just a lot of excitement coming to fruition.”
