‘How do I choose a wedding band?‘ is something you’ve probably asked if music is important to you! And we don’t blame you. Music sets the tone for the wedding. A good wedding band will keep guests entertained during dinner and they’ll get everyone up onto the dancefloor too! Choosing a good wedding band isn’t a decision you should take lightly. We’ve got five incredibly helpful ways you can find the perfect wedding band for you!
Know the style you want
There are loads of incredibly talented musicians out there and so many wedding bands! Narrow it down by selecting the style you are after. Sit down with your partner and think about what you’d like. Ask yourself a few questions:
What is the type of wedding we are planning?
What kind of atmosphere do we want during dinner?
Do we want our guests to spend all night on the dancefloor?
What kind of music do we like?
Which songs would we request from our wedding band?
These types of questions will give you an idea of the type of wedding band which will be suitable for your wedding. An acoustic duo may be the best fit if you are planning a relaxing wedding on the beach. Are you having a formal black tie wedding where everyone will be dressed up? Perhaps something classy like a jazz band is a great option!
