Over 450 guests attended an afternoon at Leixlip Manor & Gardens last Sunday, where some of Ireland’s finest wedding suppliers were on display, including; craft food, wine, beer and cheese producers, pig on the spit BBQ suppliers, wedding co-ordinators displaying vintage styling ideas, wedding cars, live bands, and even a vintage wine van and ice cream van!
One of the highlights on the afternoon was the auctioning of a Diamond Wedding Package to the value of €8,000. This was an all inclusive package for up to 100 guests and bidding was lively from the start. The winning bid of €6,750 went to Barry McElhone and Aileen Smyth who secured their dream wedding date for August 2014.
Ireland’s First Dedicated Wedding Venue
Leixlip Manor & Gardens in Leixlip, Co. Kildare is a beautiful Georgian Manor situated on 27 acres of Parkland and four acres of formal gardens including one of Leinster’s finest Walled Gardens. Having hosted over 1,800 weddings to date, the property has been exclusively catering for weddings since 2010. It is one of Ireland’s first dedicated wedding venues. This year sees the Manor’s busiest year since 2005, showing that the wedding market is embracing the "Exclusively Yours" wedding concept.
