Ideal for Autumn – Dusty Duck Egg Blue Wedding Palette

Décor & Flowers

Soft and romantic and the perfect way to add your ‘something blue‘ to every aspect of your day, this pretty pastel blue or dusty duck egg wedding palette is a beautiful option for autumn brides. A blue palette came in many forms this year, including our favourite greyed jade and mustard (check it out here!) and it’s a fabulous way to create a modern yet rustic feel to your big day.

Our top choice for introducing a theme is through wedding flowers. For this theme to work with your blooms we suggest using succulents in your bouquet or wedding flowers, and  mix in some pale blue Hydrangeas to add a softer touch. Grooms can go for a light grey suit with a hint of blue while bridesmaids are free to play with different shapes and shades in a mix and match set up. Add some wooden elements to your palette such as a tree trunk cake stand (there are a bunch available from Etsy in all different styles and sizes), some bare rustic branches wrapped in fairy lights for pew ends, a beautiful stripped down wedding wish tree with powder blue cards and ribbons is another stunning way to bring some nature indoors, and even a gorgeous twig and floral crown like this one worn by bride Magdalena for her wedding this summer (purchased from Serenity Bridal on Etsy).
