1920s Flapper Fashion

Fashion & Jewellery

For most brides choosing their wedding dress is often the most anticipated part of wedding planning, I know I’m a sucker for a dazzling gown! The roaring 20s are very in this year, so what better way to forget this cold weather than by giving you a dose of feel good 1920s bridal inspiration.

Women’s fashion during the 1920s was all about elegance with feminine grace, but very surprisingly to us Gok Wan educated, curves were not a big feature. This lack of the curvaceous form is very visible in the drop waisted dresses which the 20s are so famous for.

Thankfully, the drop waist feature still remains but those clever bridal designers have given their designs a modern touch that does show off the female form and all her curves.

If you fancy channelling a strong 1920s look on your wedding day, here are a few of our favourite gowns and accessories inspired from this decade.
