8 Amazing Food Stations for an Irish Wedding

Inspiration

Wedding traditions change over the years and while many have gone out the door over time, one thing will always be as important as ever – the food. While it may be far from crepes and poutine we were raised on, there’s no denying that once a van emitting some seriously inviting aromas rolls up, we’re all over it. Today we’re taking a look at some of the best food and drink trucks and stations on the Irish market at the moment. From post-ceremony sorbets to garlic and cheese covered chips at midnight, you’re sure to find something tasty to treat your guests to below!

La La Poutine

The cult comfort food of chips, cheese and gravy is a Canadian and US favourite,  and La La Poutine have been dishing it out to Irish food enthusiasts from their vibrant 1977 Renault Estafette since late last year. Now a staple on the food circuit, La La Poutine also provides a great service for weddings and is perfect for evening eating or next-day devouring. We’ve no doubt this will be a hit with guests – try the La La Bacon, you’ll soon be calling yourself a poutine convert too! Find out more at lalapoutine.ie

Home Fries

Another gorgeous little food truck delivering mouthwatering comfort food to the ravenous is the wonderful Home Fries. At its core, Home Fries is all about fried baby potatoes, which are then drizzled with curry sauce, lathered with chipotle or sprinkled with scrumptious slow-roast BBQ pulled pork. I’ll have the patatas bravas, and it’s a chorizo and red pepper for himself. Find out more at homefries.ie
